Hanner RV Supercenter is located in Baird, Texas, just 20 miles east of one of our favorite cities — Abilene. Abilene, Texas, is home to nearly 120,000 people as of the 2010 census, but a more recent estimate puts Abilene above the 120,000 mark. Abilene was first established in 1881 as a shipping point along the Texas and Pacific Railway, and it has grown tremendously over the last 140 years.

We love Abilene because the people are great and the location has so much to offer.

What To Do In Abilene

Whether you are a long-time resident, are new to the area, or are just passing through Abilene, you might be surprised by all the fun things you can do in the city.

Looking for a day of learning? Abilene offers incredible museums that children and adults will love. Far and away, Abilene’s best attraction is Frontier Texas!, a western heritage center that transports you to the Old West. Other learning opportunities include the Grace Museum and the 12th Armored Museum, the National Center for Children’s Illustrated Literature and the Adamson-Spalding Storybook Garden, and the Morgan Jones Planetarium.
