Heartland History | Hanner RV | Baird, TX
Based out of Elkhart, Indiana, Heartland got its start back in 2003 when several knowledgeable individuals joined together. Within a short period of time, the company began offering luxurious travel trailers and fifth wheels, which are now staples on the market.
The start of Heartland
The first major Heartland fifth wheel on the scene was the Landmark, which debuted in 2004. The camper set the company standard for the durable materials, creature comforts and overall design of its fifth wheels. Since then, Heartland has continued to offer RVs that are both affordable and innovative.
The Bighorn fifth-wheel camper was introduced shortly after the Landmark. With 10 high-quality models to choose from, it’s easy to find the model with all the essentials and entertainment options you need.
The growth of the Heartland Community
Heartland soon garnered the attention of many RV enthusiasts, leading to the creation of the Heartland Owners Club. The club hosts an array of events and rallies in North America, where you learn new information from other RV owners and share your own tips with others in a fun environment.
The addition of new trailers
Heartland later added new trailers to its lineup and managed to not only withstand the financial crisis in the United States but to also gain market share during that time. In 2009, Heartland began offering more traditional travel trailers, which are well-equipped and cost-effective options. Thor Industries acquired the company in 2010, leading to further growth for Heartland.
Having such a wide variety of RVs available by 2014, Heartland needed to expand its manufacturing plant to an astounding 780,000 square feet. Today, Heartland continues to offer a number of fifth wheels and travel trailers, as well as toy haulers.
We at Hanner RV Supercenter are proud to offer Heartland models at our dealerships. Check out the different models we have available, like the Bighorn Traveler, when you stop by for a visit.
